Mr. Parveen Kumar Verma Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Parveen Kumar Verma is a result oriented professional with exhaustive experience in managing a wide array of functions which broadly includes Design & Development of quality & reliable power distribution network, AT&C loss reduction, Adoption, deployment & integration of various IT / OT systems etc. His core competency lies in reaching out to people and deployment of strategic measures in a seamless manner suiting to user requirement and thus facilitating improved levels of Operational & Commercial efficiency parameters. Mr. Verma has held responsible positions like Chief of Operation, Chief of Commercial in TPCODL for over three years and for a short stint he served as Chief of Commercial Services with TPNODL before he joined as CEO, TPWODL from 19th April 2024. He has played a key role in reducing the AT&C losses through comprehensive analysis and deployment of strategic measures. Mr. Verma is an alumnus of Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. He is also a Fellow Member of The Institution of Engineers India.

Mr. Mohit Jain Chief Financial Officer

Mohit Jain is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 18 years of rich experience in the Power sector i.e. Generation, Transmission & Distribution. He has done post-graduation from Mumbai University and cleared Level I and Level II of the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA, USA) program, further strengthening his expertise in financial management and analysis. Before joining TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL), he was associated with TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) as Financial Controller since the time of its takeover, playing a pivotal role in establishing strong financial governance and systems. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer at Powerlinks Transmission Limited and has held diverse roles in Tata Power and its domestic & international subsidiary companies in functions such as Corporate Treasury, Finance & Accounts & Financial Performance analysis.

Mr. Ashish Patjoshi Chief Technology and Renewable Energy

Mr. Ashish Kumar Patjoshi carries more than 21 years of experience in power distribution, infrastructure planning, project execution and in power sector commercial activity. He started his career with the then Odisha State Electricity Board in the year 1991. Since then he has served throughout his career in Western Odisha Distribution Utilities. In 2021, he became the general Manager & Head C&MM, Zonal Head for Bargarh before he took the responsibility of Chief of Operation services in Western Odisha Distribution Limited.

Mr. Parmanand Tendulkar Chief Commercial

An alumnus of Harvard Business School, USA, and MBA (Finance) from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University, he is also an Electrical Engineering graduate from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai University, with over 26 years of experience across various domains of the Transmission and Distribution business in the power sector. He is currently serving as Chief Commercial and Chief Ethics Counsellor at TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL), where he is responsible for Revenue Cycle Management, including Meter Reading, Billing, Collection and Revenue Assurance, as well as Meter Management, Enforcement, Connection Management, Customer Services, Call Centre Operations and Key Customer Management. He has also played a key role as Chief Projects at TPWODL, executing electricity infrastructure projects worth approximately INR 1000 crore annually across Western Odisha. Earlier, he spearheaded strategic growth initiatives at Tata Power Mumbai Distribution by driving multiple special projects and held key leadership roles such as Chief Operations, Zonal Head (North and West Zones), Head of Network Management and Head of Capex Management. He has further contributed to the success of the PPP model at Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited by undertaking responsibilities across Project Management, Project Engineering and Contracts, Capex Management, Budgeting and Control, and Regulatory Advocacy. His notable achievements include securing four approved patents for Tata Power, presenting technical papers at national and international forums, and driving the adoption and implementation of advanced technological solutions such as AI/ML, RPA, AR/VR and IoT for business processes. He has received innovation awards from prestigious platforms including the India Smart Grid Forum, The Economic Times, the Confederation of Indian Industry, Tata Innovista and the Central Board of Irrigation and Power. Additionally, he has led TBEM assessments as Team Leader across various Tata Group companies, including Tata Steel, Tata Capital, Voltas, Tata Consulting Engineers, Indian Steel & Wire Products (ISWP) and Jamipol, and has served as an SME and jury member for evaluating innovation projects at multiple forums. He has also driven digital transformation through Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) of operational and commercial processes and has led ERP implementation projects for the business.

Mr. Cosmos Damiyan Lakra Chief HR & ES&A

Cosmos Damiyan Lakra, a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of rich industrial experience, hails from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He holds a master's in human resources management from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and completed his Economics Hons. from the same institution. Since January 2nd, 2008, he has been an integral part of the Tata Power Group, assuming various leadership roles including Head HR & ADMIN of Jojobera Power Plant, Business HR for Services Business in Noida, and Head HR for Transmission Business in Mumbai, among others. Currently serving as Head ¿ HR, IR & ES&A at TPWODL, Burla. Prior to Tata Power, he held key positions at renowned companies like Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, A.D. Hydro Power Ltd., T & T Motors Ltd., Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd., and Rollatainers Ltd. He is also a certified internal auditor of ISO 14000 & OHSAS and a certified assessor of Affirmative Action. An accomplished athlete, he has represented Bihar in Junior National Basketball Championships and excelled in university-level football championships.

Mr. Anil Kumar Ojha Chief – Technical Service, Contract, and Store

Mr. Anil Kumar is Electrical & Electronics engineer with PGDBA in Data & business analytics and having more than 20 years of experience in Power Distribution having expertise in Project Management, Change management, Process Management, P&L account handling and execution of Smart Grid projects i.e., SCADA/DMS/OMS, Smart metering, GIS, Network Operations Management with leading organizations. He has worked as consultant to various state in India and in international project under world bank assignment. He is enthusiastic technology lover and working for various new technology adoption in power sector such as Drone, AR/VR and robotics. Presently associated with Tata Power Western Odisha Distribution Limited as Chief – Technical Service, Contract, and Store.

Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh Chief Operation Services

Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh demonstrates professionalism with purpose. He holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources. He began his career with the inception of TPDDL, Delhi, as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), and his journey up to Deputy General Manager (DM) in 2017 marked several key milestones in Delhi Distribution. During this period, he led various functions, including enforcement, network management, and distribution. *His career progressed with his appointment as Chief – Operations at Ajmer Distribution from 2017 to 2020. He then took on leadership roles in Odisha Distribution, Central Zone, initially as Head – Enforcement from 2020, and subsequently as Head – Revenue Recovery Group, Energy Audit, and MMG. He has been associated with Odisha Distribution in the Central Zone since its inception. *As Head – MMG at TPCODL, his leadership led to significant achievements including manpower restructuring, renewal of NABL accreditation for labs, 100% smart metering of HTCT and LTCT meters, successful deployment of new Business Associates (BAs) with over 400 teams operating without industrial relations issues, implementation of smart metering at all service levels for energy audit purposes and streamlining of MMG processes.
